The "year" is broken into two categories. 

Summer and Off-Season

Summer

Summer is time for sunshine and a bit of competition!

Practices will be Monday thru Thursday with competitions held on Saturdays. The competitions are planned to be held in an outdoor pool, weather permitting. Don't forget the sunscreen! 

Training focus: become meet ready! Practice with official starts, legal turns, relays, and individual skills for a successful meet. 

 

2026 dates:

Summer practice starting June 1st. 

League championship meet tentatively scheduled for August 1st

Practice times:

    Junior 5pm-6pm

    Senior 5pm-6:30pm

Meet schedule will be posted once released by the league

Required items:

-Water bottle

-Goggles

-Team suit

-Team cap (can be optional but is highly encouraged)

Parents: 

Please reach out to Coach Whitney if you are able to help provide a snack for the team snack bin, or if you are interested in potentially timing. It is not required for us to provide timers, but if there aren't enough the day of the meet cannot start. Timing gives you a front row seat to all the swims!

Off-season

Off-season time is for focusing on improving skills and building endurance.

Practices will be Monday and Wednesday with no planned competitions at this time. 

Training focus: Continue to build skills and endurance to maintain, and build on, everything learned during the summer.

 

2026 dates:

Training months include January, February, March, April, May, August, September, October, November, and December

Practice times:

    Junior 5pm-6pm

    Senior 5pm-6:30pm

The month of December will have a two week break for the holidays.
